Meet Sarah!
Hello, so glad you have found me! I have been creating delicious and decadent wedding cakes for over 11 years. My passion started at an early age making cakes with my grandmother. When I had my own children I started baking and decorating again for their birthday cakes, which re-sparked my enthusiasm and lead me to start my own cake business. I truly am in my element creating show-stopping wedding cakes. I love getting to use different skills and techniques to create large extravagant cakes. With the simple touches right down to the fine details and delicate sugar flowers. Oh, and my true love of all things romance of course!
I’m a mum to two humans, two fur-babies and married to a wonderful husband who is my absolute rock and the backbone of my support, he keeps me doing the job that I adore most. Lots of friends and returning clients like to refer to him as Mr Cake. We have been running Heart and Soul Cakes for 12 years and just last year made our massive leap to getting our new barn premises in the beautiful Essex countryside. I love being about to meet our couples and this is why I do face-to-face tasters. You are not just a number on an invoice you are part of the extended family and only the best will do for you!
